Little Cove Farm is a small, premier equestrian complex,
located on 50 acres of rolling pasture and woods of
scenic Southern Calvert County near Jefferson Patterson
Park and Museum, between the historic Saint Leonard
Creek and Patuxent River . The farm's purpose is to
provide a first-class facility to breed and train
warmblood horses, selling fine Hanoverians and
Oldenburgs. The facility was completed in 2007 and is
open to a few boarders, who would like a top-quality
location to enjoy their horses year round.
Little Cove Farm offers access to trail riding throughout
hundreds of acres of pastoral countryside, a 72 x 200
lighted indoor arena equipped with dust-control
watering system, and a 78 x 200 outdoor arena. Each
horse has a 12 x 12 matted stall with a Dutch door and
computer-controlled insect control system, and access
to hot-water wash racks, paddocks, and small group
turnout. The feed room is heated and the observation
lounge is heated and air conditioned. The facility is
protected by an electronic security system, and the
owners and stable manager live on the premises.
Little Cove Farm is committed to the well being of
resident horses and to the enjoyment of the equestrian
sport by our horse owners.
